Beaumont Farm - 06/28/2014
The Petaluma Arts Center could not have picked a better place to have their fundraising event. It was perfect. The location is scenic, there were so many sweet people, the animals were all very friendly. it was a great setup for the food and the band (Driftwood).

Demolition of a factory - October 2013
I visited friends and family in Ohio for two weeks. One of the highlights was going to see the state of the old Lucent factory, aka Western Electric, then AT&T. This is a huge building behind the office building where I worked from 1983 - 1999. Then I moved to the new AT&T building a few miles east until I got to escape to retirement in 2003.

Barinaga Ranch Tour - June 15, 2013
This was a fun afternoon. We toured the ranch, played with the lambs, watched the milking and tasted yummy cheese. Next year I hope to get in the early tour just after the lambs are born. Click on the photo for more photos of the ranch and sheep.

Ramini Ranch Tour - April 17, 2013
The Ramini farm and cheese company are in Tomales, a little town about a half hour from me. They are making fresh buffalo mozzarella. Craig Ramini was the most gracious host and tour guide allowing me to photo his buffalo. They are sweet animals and have a scenic location with a lot of land on which to roam and enjoy the good life as they produce milk for the mozzarella. Meandering Northern California - March 2010
Since we have not found a house, the market is lousy and we believe we must wait for atrocious prices to come down to a mere obnoxious level, we are enjoying the area for a month while we escape the rest of the Ohio winter this year. Click on photo for more photos.

I loved visiting Alpaca farms. These are the sweetest animals. It was always so much fun taking their photos and chatting with the alpacas and the owners. Click on any photo for more photos.
Moving: We moved from Ohio to Petaluma, California at the beginning of 2011. Most of these photos are of interest to friends and family, rather than general photograph enthusiasts, with the exception of the cat pictures, who can resist those?
Sunbear Studio and Gallery is in central Ohio, owned by Meredith Martin, a glorious pastel artist. I had the good fortune to become friends with Meredith and show photographs there for several years. I have since moved to California but send note cards to be sold there so they don't forget me.
